Wedping vs Cordially Wed: Pricing, Text Limits & WhatsApp (2026)
Compare Wedping and Cordially Wed on guest pricing, 30 broadcast texts versus unlimited messages, RSVPs, and a shared SMS and WhatsApp inbox.
By Mia ·
Wedping and Cordially Wed both help you message wedding guests and collect RSVPs. The difference to check first is the outgoing message allowance: Wedping lists $2 per guest for up to 30 broadcast texts per paid guest, with unlimited guest replies. Cordially Wed includes unlimited guest messages and replies in a one-time plan priced by unique phone numbers, with SMS and WhatsApp managed in one workspace.
For a destination wedding, that combination is useful twice: you can send the updates you did not predict, and you can reach guests through the channel they are using while travelling. Wedping has strengths of its own, including guest photo collection and AI replies in its listed package. This comparison is published by Cordially Wed and checks both products' public offers as of September 13, 2026.
Wedping vs Cordially Wed: what you pay
These examples assume one unique phone number per guest, standard retail pricing in USD, and no planner discounts or optional add-ons. The billing units differ: Wedping prices per guest; Cordially Wed prices by unique guest phone numbers.
- 50 guests / numbers: Wedping $100; Cordially Wed $69.
- 100 guests / numbers: Wedping $200; Cordially Wed $119.
- 150 guests / numbers: Wedping $300; Cordially Wed $169.
- 200 guests / numbers: Wedping $400; Cordially Wed $169.
- 400 guests / numbers: Wedping $800; Cordially Wed $249.
At 400 guests with one unique phone number each, Cordially Wed saves you $551, or about 69%, compared with Wedping's standard retail price. Wedping costs more than three times as much in this example. Cordially Wed's highest self-serve tier covers 201–400 unique numbers for $249 once, with unlimited guest messages and replies.
Cordially Wed's full ladder is $69 for up to 50 numbers, $119 for 100, $169 for 200, and $249 for 400. Contact us above 400. Multiple attendees sharing one contact number do not turn that number into multiple texting charges. If your list grows into another tier, you pay the difference. Wedping separately advertises volume discounts for planners, so a planner quote may differ from these retail examples.
30 broadcast texts versus unlimited wedding messages
Thirty broadcasts per guest may comfortably cover your wedding. A short celebration with an invitation, RSVP follow-up, logistics note, and a handful of reminders is unlikely to need thirty full-list announcements. Wedping's unlimited replies also mean that a guest asking a question is not the same thing as using up another outbound broadcast.
The reason to choose unlimited wedding text messaging is uncertainty. A welcome dinner changes venue. Guests ask for the shuttle details again. Rain moves the ceremony inside. A multi-day wedding has different updates for different groups, and you may not know your final message plan when you buy. Cordially Wed removes the message counter from that decision. Your phone-number tier still matters; the number of guest updates does not. Our guide to unlimited wedding texts works through a sample message budget.
SMS and WhatsApp together for destination weddings
Wedping advertises international texting, flags unsupported numbers, and describes email as a fallback. WhatsApp was not listed in the public pricing, help, and guest-texting pages we checked; confirm with Wedping if it is essential to your list.
Cordially Wed supports SMS to supported +1 and UK +44 numbers, plus WhatsApp for guests who use it, including family in India and other countries outside that SMS coverage. Both channels feed one wedding inbox. A friend replying by SMS and a relative replying on WhatsApp can be handled from the same place, alongside your guest list.
That matters after a flight, too. A guest may switch to a travel SIM or eSIM and stop receiving texts on their home line. WhatsApp can keep using the home number registered to the account over Wi-Fi or travel data. It can therefore be an alternative way to reach them, provided their account remains active and connected. Confirm their WhatsApp number before travel; do not assume a new local SIM number is also their WhatsApp number.
One inbox, with the guest context beside it
Both products offer a place to manage guest replies. Wedping's reply inbox and AI assistant are useful features, so having an inbox alone is not a reason to choose Cordially Wed. The Cordially Wed benefit is handling SMS and WhatsApp conversations in the same workspace, with channel labels and the guest record close by.
An inbox also needs someone watching it. Check delivery status and unanswered questions, and contact a guest on their other available channel when necessary. This is an alternate contact plan, not a promise that a failed SMS will automatically become a WhatsApp message. How the unified wedding inbox works explains the workflow.
RSVPs, multiple events, photos, and AI
Both products support guest organization and RSVPs across wedding events. Multi-event support is not exclusive to Cordially Wed. Wedping also lists contact collection, a customizable wedding website, multiple admins, GuestPhotoCurator, and AI auto replies in its package. If collecting guest photos or including AI replies in the initial purchase matters most, give those features weight.
Cordially Wed keeps the guest list, per-event RSVPs, wedding website, seating charts, and Apple and Google Wallet passes free. Paid texting connects to those records, so an RSVP nudge can target non-responders and a dinner update can reach that event's guests. Optional Guest Concierge is a separate paid add-on; it is not included in the one-time texting prices above.
Which should you choose?
Choose Wedping if its photo and AI features fit your wedding and thirty broadcast texts per guest cover your plans. Choose Cordially Wed if you want unlimited outbound messaging, the lower retail price in the examples above, and SMS plus WhatsApp replies in one wedding inbox.
For international or destination weddings, start with the numbers and channels your guests will actually use during the trip. Then choose a message allowance that leaves room for changes.
