Best Wedding RSVP Apps for Multiple Events (2026)
Joy, Zola, The Knot, RSVPify, Invyt, and Cordially Wed compared for multi-event weddings: per-event RSVPs, households, guest texting, WhatsApp, and price.
By Mia ·
For a wedding with several events, pick an RSVP app that shows each guest only the events they are invited to, records a separate yes or no for each event, and lets one person answer for their household. Joy, Zola, The Knot, RSVPify, Invyt, and Cordially Wed all do per-event RSVPs. The real differences are how you reach guests (email, SMS, or WhatsApp), whether you can remind only the people who have not replied, and what you pay.
Short version: Joy and Zola are strong free picks for a US wedding with a few events. Invyt is a simple option for a small wedding weekend shared over WhatsApp. RSVPify suits couples who want a configurable registration form. Cordially Wed fits multi-day weddings where you text guests by SMS and WhatsApp and want replies in one inbox.
Cordially Wed publishes this guide. We checked the other tools' public pages in October 2026. Features and prices change, so check current pricing before you choose.
What a multi-event RSVP app needs to do
- Invite by event. A coworker invited to the reception should never see the rehearsal dinner or the Mehndi.
- One answer per person, per event. A family of four can split across three events, and your caterer needs each count.
- Household replies. One person answers for everyone on the invitation without filling in the form four times.
- No guest account. Guests tap a link or find their name and answer. Every extra step costs replies.
- Reminders to non-responders only. Re-asking guests who already answered is how reminders start to feel like nagging. See our RSVP reminder texts for wording and timing.
- A channel your guests read. Email works for some lists. Family abroad often answers faster on WhatsApp.

Joy
Joy gives you a free wedding website with RSVPs. You tag guests and choose which tags can see each event, so guests only RSVP to the events they are invited to, and their answers are tracked per event. Families and couples can be linked so one person RSVPs for the party.
For reminders, Joy sells Messaging Plus as a one-time purchase. It adds text blasts, RSVP reminders, hotel reminders, and scheduled sending, and it can filter to guests who have not RSVPed. SMS only reaches US and Canadian numbers. Guests with other numbers get email. Pick Joy for a US or Canadian wedding where most guests have North American phones.
Zola
Zola's free website and guest list let you mark which events each guest is invited to, and guests can only RSVP to those. It is a polished choice for a wedding with a rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and brunch.
Zola's Premium Guest Messaging sends texts from its app or desktop site, with templates and scheduling. Texts are capped at 320 characters, and messaging your whole list needs a paid plan. We did not find WhatsApp support. Check the current price inside your Zola account.
The Knot
The Knot's free website and Guest List Manager let you create separate events and add guests to each one. When guests RSVP, they are asked only about the events you added them to. You can group several people on one invitation.
We did not find automatic RSVP reminders or built-in texting in The Knot's public pages. Couples who want to text guests usually add a separate texting service. Pick The Knot if you already use it for vendors and your guests answer email.
RSVPify
RSVPify is a general event RSVP and registration platform used for weddings and corporate events. It supports sub-events, custom questions, and seating, and it has a free plan with paid plans above it. It suits couples who want a configurable form and are comfortable with an event tool rather than a wedding planner.
We could not confirm its current texting options or household setup from public pages, so check both before you choose, along with which plan you would need.
Invyt
Invyt is built around one shareable link for the whole wedding weekend. Guests RSVP to each event on one page, and every event has a WhatsApp share button that fills in a message with the link. It tracks plus-ones, children, and dietary preferences.
The free plan covers up to 25 guests and up to two sub-events. Premium is a one-time charge per event (12 euros per event on its pricing page when we checked) and adds unlimited guests, CSV export, and a dietary summary for caterers. Invyt shares through your own WhatsApp, so reminders are messages you send yourself. Good for a smaller wedding weekend shared in family chats.
Cordially Wed
Cordially Wed is a wedding guest list, RSVP, and texting tool built with multi-day weddings in mind. You create each event, choose who is invited, and each guest answers yes or no per event from their own link, with no app and no account. A primary guest can add up to eight named household members, and each person answers separately. See our household RSVP guide for the setup.
Texting is where it differs most. You send SMS and WhatsApp from a wedding number, and replies from both land in one inbox next to the guest's record. SMS reaches +1 numbers (US and Canada) and UK +44 numbers. Guests elsewhere get WhatsApp. Save a guest list of everyone whose RSVP is pending and send or schedule a reminder to it. Scheduled sends check the list again at send time, so guests who replied are skipped. The dashboard shows confirmed, declined, and pending counts for each event. You also get a free wedding website, seating chart, and Apple and Google Wallet passes.
The guest list, per-event and household RSVPs, and website are free. Guest texting is a one-time payment by unique guest phone numbers, with unlimited messages: $69 up to 50, $119 up to 100, $169 up to 200, and $249 up to 400. You can send a free test to your own phone before you pay.
Which one should you pick?
- Mostly US or Canadian guests, a few events, and you want texting from a big brand: Joy, with Messaging Plus if you want SMS reminders.
- A US wedding already planned in Zola or The Knot: stay there for RSVPs. Both handle per-event invitations. Add a texting tool if your guests ignore email.
- A small wedding weekend shared in family WhatsApp chats: Invyt is quick to set up.
- A configurable registration form across events: RSVPify.
- A multi-day wedding with family abroad, where you want SMS and WhatsApp reminders sent only to pending guests and every reply in one inbox: Cordially Wed.
Whichever you choose, test it with one real household invited to two events before you send invitations. Check that each person can answer differently for each event.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best wedding RSVP app for multiple events?
Joy, Zola, The Knot, RSVPify, Invyt, and Cordially Wed all support per-event RSVPs. Joy and Zola are strong free picks for US weddings. Cordially Wed fits multi-day weddings that text guests by SMS and WhatsApp and want replies in one inbox. Test any app with one household invited to two events first.
Can guests RSVP to some wedding events and not others?
Yes, in all six apps in this guide. You invite each guest to specific events, and they answer yes or no for each one. Someone can accept the reception and decline the rehearsal dinner. Guests only see the events you invited them to, so nobody is asked about a dinner they were not invited to.
Which wedding RSVP apps send text or WhatsApp reminders?
Joy (Messaging Plus) and Zola (Premium Guest Messaging) send SMS reminders as paid add-ons. Joy's SMS reaches US and Canadian numbers only. Invyt shares links through your own WhatsApp. Cordially Wed sends both SMS and WhatsApp from a wedding number as a one-time paid add-on. We did not find built-in texting in The Knot.
Do wedding guests need an account to RSVP?
Not with Joy, Zola, The Knot, or Cordially Wed. Guests open your website or their personal link, find their invitation, and answer. In Cordially Wed each guest gets their own link, so they never search for their name. Avoid any tool that makes guests download an app or create a password to reply.
How much does a wedding RSVP app cost?
RSVPs are free in Joy, Zola, The Knot, and Cordially Wed. You usually pay for texting. Cordially Wed texting is a one-time $69 up to 50 unique phone numbers, $119 up to 100, $169 up to 200, or $249 up to 400. Joy and Zola sell texting add-ons. Check current pricing for each.
